Upon approval, you are entering an agreement with By Shawna Chan. Please read the terms carefully.
All products listed on this retailer only site are available for wholesale. Please abide by these rules when ordering online. Any order not meeting pricing requirements received within a wholesale order will be billed at retail price or canceled.
Production and shipping time is 2-3 weeks. Need something sooner? Let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate. During pre-holiday seasons this time may be extended to 6-8 weeks.
Suggested retail, online store, is between 35-50% above the prices listed on this site. As we grow our relationship and we become more aware of what your customers love, we can renegotiate pricing.
Pricing updates will be emailed to all active buyers. Failure to comply will result in termination of the wholesale agreement.
Opening order for all other products (excluding Knits) is $150. Minimum reorder is $100. Accounts that have not placed a purchase within a twelve month period will require a minimum reorder of $150. Any changes in these minimums will be sent via email to all buyer accounts.
Opening and reorders for Knits must meet a minimum of $400 (4 pieces per SKU). Please allow a lead time of 4-6 weeks as they are knit-to-order in NY, USA.
Art Prints: 4 per SKU
Beaded Purses: 6 per SKU
Greeting Cards: 6 per SKU
Stickers: 6 per SKU
Knits: 4 per SKU
Everything else: 4 per SKU
Orders must be paid in full at the time of purchase. Payments can be made via Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover, or Paypal and Venmo. You will be invoiced for shipping charges when the order is ready.
Net 30 is currently not offered.
Cancellation must be done within 72 hours of placing the order. Canceled orders that surpass the 72 hour period will be subject to a 50% of total value cancellation fee.
If an order arrives damaged, it must be reported within 7 days of receiving the order. Damage claims must be submitted in writing. If failed to report within the 7 day period, the order will be considered a final sale.
If you wish to return merchandise it must be returned unopened, undamaged, and in its original packaging. We will not accept returned products that have already been marked or labeled. A 20% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund total.
Order must be paid in full prior to shipping. Retailers are responsible for shipping costs. Shipping charges are calculated by size and weight, and will be added to the invoice. All domestic orders will be shipped via USPS or UPS, unless a previous arrangement has been made with the buyer. Items will ship from Oakland, CA, USA.
Local delivery and/or pickup is available. Shipping costs will be calculated when items are packed to ship and buyer will be sent an invoice.
Art Prints: Packaged individually in archival-safe, acid-free, lignin-free cello sleeves with a pH-neutral 30pt thick backing board. Includes an artist and product information sticker affixed to the back of the backing board, plus a SHAWNA CHAN branded sticker on the front
Greeting Cards: Paired with a recycled kraft envelope and packaged in an open cello sleeve.
Individual Stickers: Ships loose and unpackaged.
Patches: Attached to a product card with a low tack glue dot and packaged individually in cello sleeve.
Knits: Ships folded in original factory packaging with product hang tag.
Beaded Purses: Ships in factory packaging with brand hang tag.
Credit must be given to Shawna Chan in the product's description. A description can be given in the form of "By Shawna Chan" or simply "Shawna Chan". Partnering with third-party online resellers (i.e. Amazon, Etsy) to sell our products is not permitted unless a prior agreement between seller and buyer has been reached. You may only sell our products on the website listed on your approved application.
All rights and copyrights are retained by Shawna Chan. Purchasing the products does not transfer copyright. You may not reproduce any Shawna Chan’s art in part or whole without the written and signed consent of Shawna Chan.
Upon approval of the wholesale application, resale of By Shawna Chan products are only permitted to be sold in the retail location and/or website listed in the original application. Additional locations/ sites must be approved in writing. Please email requests to wholesale@shawnachan.com.
Seller has the right to terminate any wholesale account.
All terms, pricing, and materials associated with By Shawna Chan Wholesale are meant to be kept confidential between the seller and the buyer. Sharing this information with the public or outside of your company's team is not permitted.
Colors may appear differently on different monitors. We are not liable or responsible for the difference in colors between screens and the final product.
